Who We Are
At Mother Kate’s Early Learning Centre, we offer programs for children from birth to primary school age. Management and Educators are dedicated to continuing to develop and grow your children by delivering a high standard of quality care and education. We pride ourselves on offering programs that are inclusive of all children. Mother Kate’s ELC is licensed under the Child Care Act 2002 and Child Care Regulations 2003.
We believe each child is a unique individual who deserves the right to reach their optimum potential in a friendly, safe, secure, and stimulating environment. We believe young children learn through play and that every child should have the opportunity to develop their individual styles, personalities and build on their interests and strengths.
We encourage each child’s independence, self-confidence, and respect for self, others and property. We do this through direct guidance, positive reinforcement, and role modelling. We ensure each child feels love, security, and a sense of belonging within our service and the community.
We value the uniqueness and diversity of the families who use our service and endeavour to be understanding and accepting of all social and cultural differences.
We are committed to working in partnership with families. Through shared decision-making, we aim to complement each family’s role in order to promote mutual growth and understanding in ways that benefit each child.
Our environment fosters children’s confidence and self-esteem as they explore their interests and develop their curiosity. We encourage them to be proud of their achievements and respectful of others.
